SpecimRelease of the first mid wave infrared hyperspectral imaging instrument - FX50
On April 1st at 9:00 am Finnish time (3:00 pm Beijing time), Specim officially released its first mid wave infrared hyperspectral imaging device, the FX50, suitable for the field of industrial machine vision.
The biggest feature of this product is the use of medium wave infrared (MWIR) region, which can be used to identify and classify difficult to process black plastics, analyze hydrocarbons and minerals, quickly and reliably detect metal surface contamination, improve accuracy, and reduce costs. Therefore, once it was introduced, it attracted widespread attention due to its high speed, precision, and efficiency.
ladvantage
ØUltra compact and robust MWIR hyperspectral cameras on the market
ØThe only reliable method for classifying and identifying black materials
ØBlack ABS plastic can also be identified as its spectral region can extend up to 5300 nm
ØThis provides a new technological means for analyzing minerals and hydrocarbons in dark samples during oil and gas and mineral exploration production processes
ØDue to its strong spectral characteristics in the MWIR range, it can detect low concentrations of impurities
lflexibility
150 bands within the camera coverage range can be freely selected
Three types of lenses are available for selection to meet different bandwidth requirements
lFast optical design
High sensitivity: able to provide good signals in a short integration time
lIntegrated solution
ØEasy to integrate and update existing systems (GigE interface)
ØCompatible with commercial machine vision software tools
ØCan integrate Specim SDK and ASCII control protocol into existing software solutions
ØAvailable MWIR light source
